A video that has circulated widely on social media shows an ICE agent clapping moments after U.S. citizen Alex Jeffrey Pretti was shot and killed in Minneapolis.
In the footage, the agent—wearing a police vest over a black hoodie—approaches a cluster of officers restraining Pretti. Before he reaches them, a gunshot rings out and the agent abruptly stops. Several more shots follow in rapid succession.
As a Border Patrol agent continues firing, the DHS agent steps backward, raises his hands, and claps three times. He then turns away from the scene and walks off, as Pretti lies pinned to the ground.
Multiple videos shared online show agents restraining Pretti before gunfire erupted, with at least ten shots fired in a matter of seconds.
